CANVASS RETARGETING™The new future-pipeline marketing category built for roofers

Answers & support

Questions, answered clearly.

Learn how Storm Pipeline Builder saves today's “not yet” homeowners, monitors them for severe storms, and returns the right opportunities to your team.

01What is Canvass Retargeting?+
Canvass Retargeting is a permission-based roofing marketing strategy that saves homeowners who say not yet during door knocking, monitors their properties, and helps the assigned roof sales rep reconnect when a future storm or other relevant event creates a better opportunity.
02Is Storm Pipeline Builder another roofing CRM?+
No. It is a future-pipeline and storm follow-up system for roofing companies and roof sales reps. Roofers can use it independently, or send qualified opportunities to their existing CRM when it is time to inspect and sell.
03What is StormDispatch?+
StormDispatch is the homeowner-facing monitoring and inspection-dispatch service branded by each roofing company. It keeps enrolled properties monitored, identifies possible storm matches and helps the assigned representative move affected homes into inspection follow-up.
04Does the system guarantee roof damage?+
No. A storm match is an alert for review, not proof of damage. The roofing representative follows the company’s inspection process before making any damage determination.
05What happens when a homeowner says no?+
The representative can offer permission-based storm monitoring. If the homeowner opts in, the property becomes part of the company’s future pipeline rather than disappearing after the canvassing conversation.
06Does it connect to AccuLynx?+
AccuLynx is the first planned native CRM connection. Inspection-ready opportunities can be sent to AccuLynx while dormant monitored properties remain in Storm Pipeline Builder.
07Can a company manage multiple sales representatives?+
Yes. A Master Company account can organize representatives, assign monitored homes, and transfer a departing representative’s pipeline without losing the original attribution.
08Can roofing companies add their own logo?+
Yes. Homeowner flyers, enrollment sheets and StormDispatch materials are designed to use the roofing company’s logo, name and contact information.
09How much does Storm Pipeline Builder cost?+
Pipeline Seed is free forever. Paid monthly plans are Pipeline Builder at $79, Growth at $199, and Scale at $349. There is no annual contract.
10What is included in each plan?+
Pipeline Seed includes 1 user and up to 10 monitored homes total. Pipeline Builder includes 1 user and 100 monitored homes. Growth includes 3 users, 1,000 monitored homes, StormDispatch WebApp and API connections, the Website StormDispatch Widget, and email and phone support. Scale includes 10 users, 3,000 monitored homes, the Website StormDispatch Widget with installation assistance, advanced integrations, and email, phone and Zoom support.
11What is the Website StormDispatch Widget?+
Growth and Scale companies can request a branded homeowner storm-monitoring opt-in page for their website. The company chooses its colors and logo, then uses a hosted link or website embed. New homeowner enrollments flow into its monitored pipeline. The company may install it or request installation help through Support.
12What happens when we exceed our monitored-home limit?+
Nothing is deleted. Homes beyond the active limit move to Pipeline Storage with their history preserved. Upgrade the plan to resume active storm monitoring for those homes.
13When do plan upgrades and downgrades take effect?+
Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe calculates the applicable prorated charge. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current paid billing period, so the existing limits and features remain available until the next renewal date.
14Can I cancel without losing the rest of the month?+
Yes. A cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Paid access continues through that date, and saved properties and history remain preserved according to the account’s storage status.
15How does the 30-day Storm Activation Trial work?+
The company owner can activate the one-time 30-day full-feature trial manually, or it starts automatically with the first legitimate storm match. Sandbox storms never trigger it.
16How do Referral Rewards work?+
Each qualified roofing-company referral earns a $100 account credit. A referral qualifies after its third successful monthly payment, helping ensure it is a genuine, retained customer.
17Can representatives track their own referrals?+
Yes. The Referral Rewards area gives each account a unique referral link and shows sent invitations, signups, qualification progress, pending rewards and applied credits. The $100 credit is applied to the referrer’s Stripe account after the referred roofer completes three successful paid monthly payments.
18Can I try Storm Pipeline Builder before paying?+
Yes. Create a free account with one user and up to 10 actively monitored homes. Upgrade when you are ready to add home 11. The one-time 30-day Storm Activation Trial unlocks Growth features when the timing is useful. No card required.
19Can I opt out of messages?+
Yes. Marketing consent is optional. Email recipients can unsubscribe, and SMS recipients can reply STOP. Free account access does not require marketing consent.
20Are the deals on the Revenue page real?+
No. The current Revenue page uses clearly labeled fictional example deals to demonstrate how recovered-pipeline reporting will look.
21How can storm matching be tested without waiting for hail?+
Platform administrators can use dry-run synthetic events and historical replays. Dry runs test distance and matching behavior without sending homeowner messages or creating CRM records.
22How large is the StormDispatch matching area?+
The default storm-match radius is 6 miles. A company or representative can adjust that radius when a tighter or broader operating area makes more sense.
23What happens after a home is matched to a storm?+
The affected home is highlighted for action and the assigned representative can open its lightning-bolt alert. StormDispatch sends the homeowner an assumptive inspection notice explaining that the roofing team plans to come by; the homeowner can reply directly if timing or details need to change. The home remains flagged until the representative records the inspection result.
24Does monitoring stop after the first storm?+
No. A home stays actively monitored until a representative changes it. After inspection, the representative can continue StormDispatch monitoring when no damage is found, pause monitoring when a claim is filed, or pause it when the homeowner opts out.
25Do homeowners receive ongoing monitoring reminders?+
Yes. Actively monitored homeowners receive a monthly email reminding them that their property is still being monitored by the roofing company and assigned representative. Replies are directed to that company or representative.
26How is the map centered for each user?+
The map can use the user’s exact browser location with permission. If they prefer not to share it, they can enter a ZIP code instead. This location choice centers the map and radar preview; it does not replace the individual addresses of opted-in properties.
27Can several representatives share one paid user login?+
No. Each user seat is for one named person. The service limits concurrent sessions, recognizes a small number of trusted devices, records security activity and may require re-verification when login behavior changes. Teams should add the appropriate number of user seats for their representatives.
